Travel may be via Air New Zealand-operated flights between Vancouver (YVR) and Auckland (AKL), or via Los Angeles (LAX) or San Francisco (SFO) with flights between U.S. and Canada operated by Air Canada (AC), WestJet Airlines (WS), Alaska Airlines (AS) or United Airlines (UA). Fares shown are valid for travel Monday to Thursday on the trans-Pacific sector. A surcharge of $250 CAD each way applies for travel Friday to Sunday on the trans-Pacific sector.. Payment & Ticketing - Bookings made online must be purchased immediately with credit card. Ticket must be purchased at least 50 days prior to travel. Only Canadian based credit cards with Canadian billing addresses are accepted. Prices are in Canadian dollars and offer is available in Canada only. Electronic Tickets will be issued on all eligible routes and sent to the email address provided in the booking process. Waitlist is not permitted. Prices are subject to change at any time. Cancellations/Changes - Ticket is fully refundable without penalty within 24 hours of ticketing when purchase is made 7 or more days before departure of the first flight in the itinerary. After the initial 24 hour period, cancellation or change fees may apply. Changes are permitted for $100 CAD change penalty per adult or child subject to booking class availability. A service fee of $50 CAD per person will apply to changes. May be used as credit towards payment of another Air New Zealand fare provided the new fare is greater or equal to the value available for exchange. Before departure, cancellations are permitted with penalty of $300 CAD. After departure, ticket is non-refundable. For no-shows a penalty of $150 CAD shall apply. Other restrictions may apply.
Stopovers: 4 stopovers permitted, including 1 free stopover in Auckland and 3 stopovers in New Zealand or Rarotonga, Cook Islands at $100 each subject to direct air services between two points, and must be purchased at the same time as the International airfare. Routings must be in a continuous direction with no back-tracking permitted. Additional government fees or airport taxes may apply.
Frequent Flyer - Frequent Flyer accrual is permitted with this fare type.
Minimum/Maximum stays - no minimum stay and 12 month maximum stay.
Children/Infants - Accompanied children 2-11 years pay 100% of the adult fare. Accompanied infants under two years of age not occupying a seat pay 10%. Only one infant discount per adult passenger. For information regarding services for young children, services for young children.
