Fare/Pricing Details - Round trip airfare in Economy Class per person between Vancouver (YVR) and New Zealand. Travel may be via our Vancouver (YVR), Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Houston (IAH) or Honolulu (HNL) gateways on Air New Zealand-operated trans-Pacific flights. Travel within Canada and US is provided by Air Canada (AC), WestJet Airlines (WS), Alaska Airlines (AS) or United Airlines (UA) in Economy Class. Fares shown are valid for travel Monday to Thursday on the trans-Pacific sector. A surcharge of $100 CAD return in Economy/$200 return in Premium Economy/$500 return in Business Premier applies for travel Friday to Sunday on the trans-Pacific sector. Additional New Zealand city must be booked at the same time and in the same Passenger Name Record (PNR) and itinerary as the international airfare from Canada to Auckland, New Zealand. Payment & Ticketing - Ticket must be purchased at least 2 days prior to travel. Bookings made online must be purchased immediately with credit card. Only Canadian based credit cards with Canadian billing addresses are accepted. Prices are in Canadian dollars and offer is available in Canada only. Electronic Tickets will be issued on all eligible routes and sent to the email address provided in the booking process. Waitlist is not permitted. Prices are subject to change at any time. We want to provide you with the most competitive fare deals in a fluctuating marketplace and because of this, prices may go down. We are not able to provide refunds or rebooking if a lower fare becomes available.
Cancellations/Changes - Economy: Ticket is fully refundable without penalty within 24 hours of ticketing when purchase is made 7 or more days before departure of the first flight in the itinerary. After the initial 24 hour period, fare is non-refundable. Changes are permitted with a change penalty of $150 CAD in Economy per adult/child subject to booking class availability. A service fee of $50 USD per person will apply to changes. For no-shows ticket is non-refundable and ticket value is forfeited. Premium Economy: Ticket is fully refundable without penalty within 24 hours of ticketing when purchase is made 7 or more days before departure of the first flight in the itinerary. After the initial 24 hour period, penalty of $300 CAD applies for cancellation at any time. Changes are permitted with a change penalty of $100 CAD in Premium Economy per adult/child subject to booking class availability. A service fee of $50 USD per person will apply to changes. Stopovers: 4 stopovers permitted, including 1 free stopover in Auckland and 3 stopovers in New Zealand or Rarotonga, Cook Islands at $100 each subject to direct air services between two points, and must be purchased at the same time as the International airfare. Routings must be in a continuous direction with no back-tracking permitted. Additional government fees or airport taxes may apply.
Frequent Flyer - Frequent Flyer accrual is not permitted on programs other than Airpoints with this fare type.
Minimum/Maximum stays – no minimum stay and 350 day maximum stay.
Children/Infants - Children/Infants - Economy and Premium Economy: Accompanied children 2-11 years pay 75% of base fare. Business Premier: Accompanied children 2-11 years pay 100% of base fare. All fares: Accompanied infants under two years of age not occupying a seat pay 10%. Only one infant discount per adult passenger. Find out more information regarding services for young children.
